when the trees are crowned with leaves...
We've been rambling all the night,
and some time of this day—
and now, returning back again, we bring a garland gay.
And so they linked their hands and danced
'round in circles and in rows.
...A garland gay we bring you here,
and at your door we stand.
It is a sprout well budded out,
the work of our Lord's hand."
('The Mummer's Dance' by Loreena McKennitt)
The first of May— a celebration of Spring.
I love all the tiny dew drops on these.
Red-gold rose.
Lily of the Valley, I believe.
Cherry blossoms.
Monarch on a flower.
Yellow rose.
Lovely purple.
A flying flower.
Beautiful lavender rose.
Red Columbines.
A Crowned Wood Nymph hummer. One of my favorites.
Our world isn't even perfect, and it can still be so beautiful.
"You make beautiful things,
You make beautiful things out of the dust.
You make beautiful things,
You make beautiful things out of us."
(from a song)
