Why do we feel we must 'help' Jesus set that 'mistake' right by pushing Him off a bit with reverent language and lofty tones? I understand that most of it is done with good intention...but the irony is, this isn't how God chose to relate to us.
When Jesus died, that most holy of curtains was ripped in half. God Himself...ripped it in two. So why do we insist on stitching it back up? We must no be 'too familiar' with God. Don't presume to get too close. Said who?
